After leaving the hotel, there is a well connected ground transportation network. There is a bus hub just a few hundred meters away from the entrance, and multiple routes directly reach the core points of Hengfu District such as Wukang Building, Huaihai Middle Road, and Shanghai Library. If you don't want to squeeze into public transportation, you can always take a ride hailing service at the hotel entrance. Within a 10 minute drive, you can cover all the office buildings and shopping malls in the Xujiahui commercial district. Whether it's meeting friends or going to exhibitions, you can arrive early and safely at the right time. If you want to immerse yourself in old Shanghai, you can sweep a shared bike out of the hotel door and ride northward along Wanping South Road. You can enter the deep wutong trees in Hengfu Scenic Area in 15 minutes. The wind blows through the cracks of wutong leaves, and even the journey is part of the journey.
The surrounding living facilities have engraved the word "convenience" into the details: within a 10 minute walk, you can find large fresh supermarkets, chain supermarkets, and 24-hour convenience stores. If you want to buy and browse the exhibition area, supplement sunscreen supplies, and go downstairs, it can be done in just two steps. There are countless old Shanghai specialties hidden within hundreds of meters around. The time-honored brand of Benbang Noodles, authentic Shanghai Fried Dumplings, and Cong you bing stalls that local people often go to, do not have to cross the region to find online stores. You can taste the authentic old Shanghai flavor by turning a corner. For the past few days, every night after visiting Anfu Road, I can walk downstairs for 5 minutes to buy hot late night small Wonton, which saves time for taking out.
If you want to go out and have fun, you can walk 15 minutes from the hotel to the Xujiahui business district, where you can browse shopping malls, watch movies, and check in at popular restaurants without having to cross districts to meet all your leisure needs. You can walk 20 minutes to the Shanghai Library, and walk slowly along the wutong Road of Huaihai Middle Road. Along the way, you can see countless old western-style houses, and the photos taken at hand are especially out of the picture. Even if you want to go to the West Coast Art Museum to see an exhibition temporarily, it only takes 20 minutes to ride a shared bike. Along Longteng Avenue, the river breeze blows, and the scenery along the way is particularly comfortable.
After staying for three nights, I hardly wasted time on rushing: in the morning, I rode my bike to check in at Wukang Building, in the afternoon, I walked to the old alley to eat local cuisine, in the afternoon, I leisurely wandered to the Shanghai Library to read, and in the evening, I rode my bike to the west bank to enjoy the sunset view of the river. No need to rush or take detours to commute, all the pace of the journey is relaxed and comfortable. Next time I come to Shanghai for a deep exploration of Hengfu District, I will definitely choose Magnotel Hotel of Shanghai Wanping Road.Show more
